Uterus is one of the parts of human female reproductive system; they are protected by the pelvic bone. Uterus is majorly divided into three parts like Top fundus; it is like a dome shaped where the fallopian tubules extend on both the sides. Middle part of the uterus is called as corpus; this is the area where the baby grows prominently after the zygote formation. The last or the bottom part of the uterus is called as cervix which is the common passage from vagina to uterus
This uterus is supplied with two layers commonly called as endometrium; which is the inner portion of the uterus. Myometrium; this is the outer part of the uterine layer.
The cancer cells grow in the uterine layer they build up heavily and attack the lymph tissues. These tissues damage the cells due to the following risk factors like abnormal over growth of endometrium, obese patients are surely prone to uterine cancers. It can also affect the patients who do not have children, excessive intake of medicines like Tamoxifen.
Symptoms; that are mainly seen in females are abnormal vaginal bleeding, pain during sexual activity, pain or difficulty during micturition, pain in the pelvic region.
Treatments: Surgery of uterus that is commonly called as Hysterectomy; but it takes time to heal for a longer period of time. Depending up on the stages of cancer cell proliferation the treatment r medication is carried out. Women should not smoke and consume alcohol after this surgery.
